A public, dated record of what I think is coming. Every call gets a date, my reasoning and a status. When I'm wrong, it stays up and gets marked wrong.

2026-09-26	I think that by mid-2027, customers will be able to book a home-service job straight from ChatGPT or Gemini, through booking tools like Jobber, without ever visiting the company's website. 2026-09-26	I think that over the next three years (by late 2029), a local business's website will matter less than the structured information AI assistants and agents read about it: pricing, real customer questions, services and booking. Getting recommended by AI will matter more than ranking on Google.	The argument is that search is moving from keywords and clicks to conversations with AI, and then to personal agents that deal with businesses' agents for you.
